Our Beliefs

“Faith in Christ gives us hope, purpose, and strength for every season.”

What We Believe

At Christ Foundation Prayer House AG, we believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith and Christian life.

Our faith is centred on Jesus Christ, and we seek to live according to the teaching of Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

1. The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God. It is our guide for faith, doctrine, Christian living, and ministry.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

2. One True God

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is the Creator of all things and is worthy of our worship, obedience, and praise.

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man.

We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is coming again.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8

4. Salvation

We believe every person is a sinner and needs salvation through Jesus Christ.

Salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not through our own works.

We believe that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and confesses Him as Lord receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” — Acts 16:31

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is God and is actively working in the lives of believers and in the Church.

The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, gives new life, guides believers, produces spiritual fruit, gives spiritual gifts, and empowers believers to be witnesses for Christ.

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” — Acts 1:8

6. Baptism in Water

We believe in water baptism by immersion for every believer who has repented and placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

Baptism is an act of obedience and a public declaration of our faith in Christ.

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4

7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience available to believers, empowering them for effective Christian witness and service.

We encourage believers to seek the fullness and power of the Holy Spirit and to live under His guidance.

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses.” — Acts 1:8

8. Divine Healing

We believe God cares for the whole person and that divine healing is revealed in Scripture and provided through Christ.

We pray in faith for healing and trust God’s wisdom and sovereignty in every situation.

“By his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

9. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.

The Church is called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, care for people, serve the community, and be a witness to the world.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

10. The Return of Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly.

We look forward with hope to His coming and seek to remain faithful, watchful, and ready for His return.

“This same Jesus… will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” — Acts 1:11

11. Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the reality of eternal life.

Those who belong to Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God, while those who reject God’s salvation will face eternal separation from Him.

“And so we will be with the Lord forever.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:17
